Landair offers Dry Van and Dedicated services to our customers, in fact, the addition of several contracts means that 55% of our freight is now dedicated. We also operate three main terminals in the Eastern U.S. while providing service to all parts of the country.

Equipment
Tractors: Landair Transport, Inc. operates primarily Freightliner or Volvo conventionals, most which are condo units. All Landair tractors are equipped with QualComm satellite systems.
Trailers: 100% of our trailers are 53 foot dry van models.

Compensation
As some of the highest paid drivers in the industry, our Company Drivers make an average of $49,500 per year, while they average 7-10 days out with approximately 2,400-2,800 miles per tractor per week.

Requirements For All Landair Drivers
Must be at least 23 years of age.
One year verifiable over-the-road experience within the last 3 years. (At least 6 months in the past year)
No DWI, DUI, OUI, or BAC Driving convictions within the last five years of application date.
No more than three moving violations within three years of application date, none serious by DOT standards.
No license suspensions of more than 30 days in the last 3 years
Submit to and pass DOT non-conditional 2 year physical and drug screen.
CDL-Class A, with HazMat endorsement (no special restrictions)
No failure of or refusal to take an illegal substance/alcohol test ever.
No more than two preventable on-road accidents within three years.
No felony convictions ever and no misdemeanors in the last 3 years.
No more than five jobs in the most recent three years of employment.
No abandonment of equipment or unauthorized use of equipment ever.
Must comply with all other DOT and Landair qualification requirements.
Dress Code-Must have neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance required at all times.
