We firmly believe that our percentage pay program will pay drivers better than a mileage-based program. TMC drivers overwhelmingly agree! Percentage-based pay has the unique advantage of offering the driver an instant pay raise whenever the company gets a freight rate increase from a shipper. It doesn't get much better than that!

It IS better at TMC! That's because whether you choose to be paid by percentage or by the mile, TMC believes that job performance should be the main factor used in setting your pay rate. Most companies set your pay rate by one factor only - your total years of experience. TMC has designed a unique pay program that allows new TMC drivers to earn as much as veteran TMC drivers. Drivers who perform at the highest levels can earn top pay after only one full month of driving for TMC. This performance-based pay system applies to both the percentage and mileage-based pay programs. We have new drivers who have earned over $60,000 in their first year of employment

Hometime policy is based on where you live.
TMC hires in most of the continental 48 states.
Drivers who live inside the area defined by the orange boundary have the option to be home 46 out of 52 weekends per year, guaranteed! Drivers who live outside of this area will enjoy longer lengths of haul, less tarping, more drop and hook freight and will be home at least once every 14 days with one day off for every week out, guaranteed!

TMC strives to offer the best, most affordable health, dental and vision care coverage for you and your family. We currently offer Blue Cross/Blue Shield coverage to meet your health care needs. Over 85% of doctors in the U.S. participate in the BCBS Preferred Provider Network (PPO). With a minimal $15 co-pay per visit, you have lower out-of-pocket expenses when you use our PPO plan. Your eligibility for TMC's health insurance plan begins following three months of continuous full-time employment.
Single coverage is available for $26.92 per week
Family coverage is available for $80.50 per week

Flexible Spending Account
TMC's flexible spending plan helps reduce your actual out-of-pocket health care and child day care costs. By paying these expenses with pre-tax earnings, you can reduce your taxable income, allowing you to keep more of your take home pay.
401(K) Retirement Plan
All TMC employee drivers are eligible to participate in the 401(K) plan after six months of employment. Money contributed by the driver is always fully vested and may be moved should you leave TMC. Your rights to any matching contributions made by TMC vest at 20% per year until you are fully vested after five years of employment.
