Drivers: We deliver palletized grocery products to grocery warehouses. You can expect some loading and unloading associated with this work, for which we provide compensation. Please see our individual pay packages or contact our recruiter for details.
Here is a list of general driver requirements:Must be at least 23 years of age.
Training program avalable for CDL school graduates.
Not more than 2 serious moving violations in the past 3 years.
Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
Must hold a valid CDL from the state in which you reside.
Must pass all DOT and Carlisle Carrier Corp. requirements.
No DUI in a commercial vehicle within the past 5 years, no DUI in a private vehicle in the past 3 years.
Felonies considered.
We have opportunities for both company drivers and contract contractors.

Mileage Rate $.40 per mile with clean driving record
$.41 per mile with hazmat endorsement
Experienced Driver Rate 5 to 10 years experience: $.41 (w/o), $.42 (with hazmat)
10 years plus experience: $.42 (w/o), $.43 (with hazmat)
* Years of experience are counted from your last three jobs only.

New York City Pay We understand some drivers do not like to go into New York City. We will make every attempt to honor that request.
If you accept and deliver any loads within the 5 boroughs of New York City and/or Long Island you will be paid $25.00 extra.

Mileage Rate $2.00 per loaded mile 0 - 100 miles
$1.50 per loaded mile 101 - 150 miles
$1.25 per loaded mile 151 - 200 miles
$1.07 per loaded mile 201+ miles
Empty miles are paid at $0.70 per mile
We will pay an additional $.01 per load mile if you have a HAZ-MAT endorsement on your CDL.
Stop off pay $40.00 for each stop off between the origin and the destination
Tolls We pay the bridge tolls in and out of New York City or any of the five boroughs - Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, or Staten Island and all points in Long Island. Service to these areas is voluntary only.
We will also pay tolls from New Jersey back to Pennsylvania over any Delaware River Toll Bridge Commission bridges.
Detention We pay $20.00 per hour after the first 2 hours under the following conditions -
You are on time for your delivery or live load pick-up appointment.
Unloading Pay We will pay you to unload your freight based on a published unloading scale broken down by number of cases handled.
Electric Jack Run-offs We will pay $15 for electric jack run-offs.
